The RealWear Navigator 500 is a monocular data goggle with IP66 certification and MIL-STD-810 for use in industrial maintenance, inspection and repair. The rugged data glasses feature a fast 8-core processor and 4 GB of RAM. Data and apps can either be stored on the 64 GB flash memory or on an external memory card with up to 512 GB. The operating system of the Navigator 500 is Android 11, but classic Windows and iOS apps can also be installed on the head-mounted tablet from RealWear via the preinstalled RealWear Explorer.
A 2600 mAh battery that can be replaced during operation ensures a long runtime. Augmented reality is experienced via a 20-degree field of view and a 24-bit display with a resolution of 854×480 px, providing a seamless overview of the current environment at all times.
The Navigator 500 from RealWear can be operated via a voice-controlled keyboard. A microphone with built-in noise reduction enables clear communication in very noisy environments. You can connect to the Internet or intranet via the integrated WLAN chipset – optionally via the 2.4 GHZ or 5 GHZ channel. The 48 MP camera takes sharp pictures of the surroundings – hands-free, of course.
