With the T800-Ex, Getac offers a variant of your rugged T800 tablet that is additionally suitable and approved for use in ATEX Zone 2 hazardous areas. In addition, the T800 also has IP65 and MIL-STD-810G certification. This means that it has been tested both for use in extreme temperatures between – 29 and + 63 degrees and against drop damage from a height of up to 180 cm.
The T800-Ex has an 8.1-inch display that fits well in the hand and allows efficient work at the same time. With the display, Getac relies on the LumiBond technology in the second generation, which offers improved image quality and robustness and enables trouble-free work in direct sunlight thanks to the high brightness of 1200 nits.
An Intel Atom processor powers the rugged ATEX tablet, creating a compromise between performance and runtime that allows you to use all common software applications fluidly. This allows you to use the T800-Ex for an entire shift without a charging pause. If necessary, you can expand the device with an additional battery via snapback extension. With this performance, the device weighs only 910g and fits in any backpack with dimensions of 23 x 16 cm and a thickness of 2.4 cm.
With 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and GPS, the T800-EX has excellent connectivity options that give you the flexibility to share data and network the tablet with other devices. Security is provided by a TPM 2.0 chip, which detects attackers and protects your data from unauthorized access.
