With the X500, Getac offers a mobile server for use in adverse conditions.
The case is protected with an alloy of magnesium. The whole device meets the criteria of MIL-STD-810H and MIL-STD-461G. It is also IP65 certified. The hard drive is also additionally protected against drops.
The X500 server offers a modern hardware configuration that you can flexibly adapt to your needs. The basis is a Xeon processor and a GTX 1050 as graphics card. Furthermore, 8 GB of RAM and a 500 GB SATA hard drive are installed as standard. Optionally, you can connect an external graphics card or expand the RAM up to 64 GB. In RAID 5, the storage capacity can be expanded up to 5 TB with 5 x 1 TB hard disks.
You manage the mobile server using the pre-installed Windows Server 2016. The 14-inch (approx. 36 cm) display allows the user to manage the device even in direct sunlight – because the display has a high brightness of 1000 nits.
Two serial ports allow flexible connection of various devices you need for work. In addition, the X500 server has two Ethernet ports for a permanently stable Internet line. A 8700 mAh battery provides the necessary energy.
