The Magnet-Ex 12 is a compact, intrinsically safe magnetic probe, specially developed for use in hazardous areas such as Zone 1 / 2. It is used to detect magnetic fields in components such as coils, solenoid valves, relays or flow meters without direct contact with the test object.
Thanks to the highly sensitive tip, it is sufficient to bring the probe close to the magnetic field: If the LED lights up red, this signals an active magnetic component. The integrated test magnet function can be used to check on site whether the probe itself (including battery) is working correctly – practical, robust and reliable even in dirty or confined environments.
