Epson Moverio BT-40S with two-part display for 2D and 3D applications
With the Moverio BT-40S, Epson combines the powerful smart glasses with the BO-IC400 controller to create a complete multimedia solution for AR applications. Elements are rendered in both 2D and 3D via a large display. A small part of the display remains free for additional overlays. This makes the Epson Moverio BT-40S ideal for use in closed captioning, guided tours or interactive training.
Moverio BT-40S with Android Controller and PlayStore Integration
The controller was developed specifically for the Epson Smart Glasses and offers interactive control options for augmented reality applications. The controller has PlayStore integration for easy use of third-party apps. Own developments can also be ideally developed and used thanks to the controller.
The Smart Glasses are simply connected via the integrated USB-C interface and DisplayPort. A second USB-C port is available for transferring data and charging the device.
Epson Moverio BT-40S with sensors and flexible operating options
The controller is designed for one-handed operation, so that one hand is always free for other activities. Alternatively, users simply use the voice control integrated into the AR glasses. In addition, the controller has a trackpad mode and a number of buttons that you can freely configure and adjust to your needs.
Thanks to a number of integrated sensors, the control adds a number of important functions to the Moverio BT-40S for complex AR applications. Besides a GPS and a 9-axis motion sensor, an accelerometer as well as a compass for spatial orientation are also installed. A camera with flash and autofocus round out the controller’s features.
