The Durabook R8 is a powerful rugged tablet that combines a slim design and a powerful technical base to create a flexible working device for professional use in trade and industry. With a total weight of just 860 grams, the tablet is easy to transport and is therefore also suitable for remote use. Power is supplied by a 3500 mAh battery, which can optionally be replaced by a 7200 mAh battery.
The rugged tablet is certified to MIL-STD 810H and MIL-STD 461G, making it resistant to drops, shocks, vibrations, rain, dust, altitude, freeze/thaw, high/low temperatures, thermal shock, humidity, conductivity, radiation and susceptibility to interference. Performance is provided by a 12th generation Intel processor, which is complemented by 8 GB of RAM. In addition to Intel WLAN 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, a Thunderbolt 4 connection is also available for data transfer.
The Durabook R8 offers an 8-inch LCD display which, thanks to DynaVue technology and 800 nits brightness, ensures optimum visibility even in direct sunlight. The display has a resolution of 1200×800 px and can be controlled via four different touch modes using a finger, stylus or glove thanks to 10-point multi-touch technology. The display is also designed for use in extreme situations and can even be operated via the touch function in wet conditions.
