The EX80 rugged tablet is Getac’s only tablet designed for intrinsically safe use in Zone 1 and Zone 2. the EX80 has ATEX approvals as well as IECEx Zone 0/20 and UL913 Class I/II Division 1. the unit is sealed with silicone composite material and equipped with an innovative power management system that makes it ideal for use in the oil and gas industry.
The 8-inch display has 600 nits of brightness, so it is always easy to read even in direct sunlight. Getac’s EX tablet is equipped with two cameras. The front-facing camera offers a resolution of 2 MP and is well suited for video calls and conferences. Take sharp pictures on the fly with the 8 MP resolution camera on the back.
With a weight of 1.48 kg, the tablet is perfectly suited for mobile use and the thickness of 3 cm allows ergonomic handling. The EX80 has an IP67 certification, so it is dust-proof and protected during temporary submersion.
