The Ex-Time 40 from ECOM is an intrinsically safe wall clock, certified for use in Zone 1 / Division 1 (or Zone 1 & Zone 2) in potentially explosive atmospheres. It has been designed to reliably display the time in gas and dust atmospheres without creating additional electrical risks.
Powered by a quartz movement with high accuracy (approx. -5 / +15 seconds per month), the watch is operated with a standardized LR14 (C) battery. The time can be easily set when the season changes (summer/winter time). A robust metal housing ensures durability and protection in demanding environments.
It is mounted using a bracket on the back, which enables stable wall mounting. Please note: The battery should be changed outside the hazardous area in order not to jeopardize safety and certification.
