The Panasonic Toughbook S1 combines powerful hardware and a strong battery that offers up to 14 hours of runtime in a rugged tablet for mobile use in industry. The battery has a warm swap function. This allows the battery to be replaced during operation without interruption. This way, you can work with your Toughbook S1 for many hours without interruption and data loss. A Snapdragon 660 processor and 4 GB of RAM form the basis for smooth work with all modern Android apps. Data and apps are stored on the 64 GB flash memory.
The Android tablet is drop-resistant up to a height of 150 cm and works in ambient temperatures from -20 to +50 degrees.

The display of the Toughbook S1 achieves a brightness of up to 500 cd/m2 and thus offers a high-contrast display even in sunlight. A front-facing camera with 5 MP and a rear-facing camera with 13 MP ensure sharp pictures. The Toughbook S1 Android tablet has both a 4G LTE connection and a WLAN connection.

The Toughbook S1 supports the COMPASS 2.0 suite, which provides a wide range of tools for professional use. COMPASS Custom lets you customize Android installation to meet your organization’s specific needs, while COMPASS Manager allows comprehensive control over configuration and deployment. COMPASS Air allows centralized update management for all devices and COMPASS Security provides a set of tools for data security. Additional security is provided by the ARM Trust Zone, which acts as a hardware-based security layer and protects the system at the processor level from unauthorized access by cybercriminals.
