Safe communication during use in ATEX Zone 2
The device is certified according to ATEX Zone 2/22, IECEx Zone 2/22 and CSA. Thus, it is suitable for use in zones with short-term (max. 10 hours per year) explosive atmospheres. At the same time, the device is protected from both gases and dust.
The IS 330.2 also defies other conditions excellently. High-quality third-generation Gorilla Glass is used to prevent the screen from shattering in case of shocks or drops. In the water it remains dense up to a depth of 2 meters for one hour. Temperatures do not bother the device either: it works without problems in a range from -20 °C to 60 °C.
A GPS signal continuously informs colleagues of the current position. An SOS button provides quick help in emergency situations. It works even when the phone is not turned on. Thus, the device offers optimal protection for people working alone.
Modern hardware and software for smooth work
The IS330.2 cell phone for ATEX Zone 2/22 offers optimum equipment in terms of both hardware and software so that you can work efficiently. A highlight is the powerful 4200 mAh battery, which is sufficient for continuous operation during an entire shift. The battery is also replaceable. A spare battery can be taken along for particularly long use. With the two built-in cameras, you can take pictures during operation and send them to your colleagues to determine their position. The 2.6-inch (6.6 cm) display enables accurate recordings. The phone comes with 64 GB of storage out of the box, which is enough for more than 10,000 pictures. If necessary, the memory can be expanded to 128 GB via micro SD card.
For connectivity, the phone offers 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi. When a frequency is heavily used, you switch so easily to improve the Internet connection. A connection via Bluetooth 5 is also possible – for example, for fast data exchange between two devices.
Android 9 is used on the software side. In the future, the device will be updated to Android 10 for free. You will also receive quarterly security updates for five years.
